International Photovoltaics Expert for training projects (m/f/d)


As a leading provider of education and capacity building services in the field of renewables, we have trained more than 30,000 participants from over 160 countries since our establishment in 2008. We are based in Berlin and have a global outreach, offering unique practical technical training and expertise, both in-person and online. We cover a wide scope of renewable energy and energy efficiency topics with technical, legal and economic aspects.

Our highly accomplished and friendly solar and energy efficiency team is looking for a full-time photovoltaics expert to continue our mission (38.5 h/week). 

Your impact and responsabilities:

  • Conception and implementation of training programs: Planning, organization and implementation of both face-to-face and online training formats in the field of grid-connected photovoltaics.

  • Development and updating of training content: Creation and ongoing adaptation of training materials and content in order to always meet the latest technical standards.

  • Quality management and Training activities: Managing and ensuring the high quality of training materials developed by external experts.
    Conducting training courses on grid-connected photovoltaics both in Berlin and internationally.

  • Coordination of external trainers and service providers: Control, review and close cooperation with external trainers and service providers to ensure smooth training delivery.

  • Consulting and development of local training facilities: Support the establishment and development of local training facilities, including the implementation of train-the-trainer programs and hands-on training centers.
     

What you should bring with you:

  • Education and experience: Degree in engineering or a similar or related field.
    At least 5 years of experience in the technical aspects of planning and implementing grid-connected PV projects.

  • Motivation: Willingness to transfer knowledge in the field of training professionals. Experience in conducting training courses would be an advantage.

  • Project and team management: Experience in managing projects and leading international teams.
    A solution-oriented, interdisciplinary team player with the ability to work independently.

  • Language skills: Professional written and spoken English is required. German and other language skills are an advantage.

  • Location flexibility: Resident in Berlin or willingness to relocate to Berlin.
